In knitting news, the browncoats are busy with requests for all things Jayne so I've been knitting away. I had high hopes of knitted gifts this Christmas but there's no way I'll be able to make all the things I'd like to make. Besides, I can not get the hand of sock knitting. Who knew it would be so hard? I'm also having issues with one particular yo in a lace scarf I'm making. Again, who knew? I've been knitting for close to 40 years (and I ain't that old). You think I could manage a simple yo or a sock.
But, I'm having great fun making dishclothes from the Mason-Dixon Knitting book. It's cute and quick and fun! Besides, knitting in brightly colored cotton isn't a bad thing. I'm going to make a dozen or so and actually pass them off as face cloths along with some soap from the Body Shop as gifts for my 7 aunts. The scarf and socks will probably be next years gifts. Once I finish a few more, I'll post pictures.
